Marc Chagall
Marc Chagall was a Russian-French artist who had associated with several key art movements and was also one of the most fine, successful artists of the twentieth century! He had created a unique career which had involved virtually every artistic medium, including paintings, book illustrations, stained glass, stage sets, ceramics, tapestries and fine art prints. Chagall's haunting and poetic images have enjoyed world wide appeal, with art critic Robert Hughes referring to him as "the quintessential Jewish artist of the twentieth century." | |
